Don't just sit there!
Prelims and exams are stressful. Make sure to provide plenty of time to study, but also remember to take a break once in a while. Davis is close to many hiking and biking trails open year round.

Ph.D. Preliminary Examination (Reflecting Requirements after Fall 2001) A written exam, it comprises graduate material in analysis and algebra, as covered in the following five graduate courses: 201ABC and 250AB, and the undergraduate material in analysis and algebra that is prerequisite for these courses.
